Job summary

Indigitise Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced AWS Platform Engineer to support the operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the EIAMS cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on AWS O&M, EKS/Kubernetes, automation, security and resilience.

Collaboration with cybersecurity and delivery stakeholders is essential to drive platform enhancements, deployments and future EIAMS capabilities while ensuring stability of critical services.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years hands-on AWS cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Strong expertise with Amazon EKS and Kubernetes administration.
• Experience in infrastructure automation and cloud engineering practices.
• Sound knowledge of AWS security architecture: IAM, WAF, RBAC, secrets management.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Argo CD or similar.
• Practical experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Dynatrace).

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure operations for reliability, security and performance.
• Administer EKS and Kubernetes environments, including upgrades and patching.
• Develop infrastructure automation to streamline operations and enable automated patching/backups.
• Monitor and optimise platform performance, scalability and cost.
• Enhance monitoring/logging with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch and Dynatrace.
• Implement AWS security controls (WAF, IAM, IRSA, RBAC, secrets).
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and ArgoCD for secure deployments.
• Investigate incidents and perform root-cause analysis for preventative improvements.
