Job summary

You will lead platform reliability, security controls, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines to enable scalable, compliant cloud services for government systems.

Qualifications

• AWS cloud infrastructure experience in complex environments.
• Hands-on with EKS and Kubernetes including upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Infrastructure automation and cloud engineering practices.
• Knowledge of AWS security controls: IAM, WAF, secrets management.
• Experience CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or Argo CD.
• Monitoring/observability with Prometheus, Grafana or CloudWatch.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation, GitOps principles.
• Knowledge of ISM/Eight security standards in gov environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure operations for performance and reliability.
• Administer EKS and Kubernetes environments including upgrades and patching.
• Develop automation to streamline operations and backups.
• Monitor platform performance and optimise cost and resilience.
• Enhance monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Dynatrace.
• Implement AWS security controls and secure deployments.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Argo CD.
• Investigate incidents and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
