Pinaka is seeking a Senior AWS Platform Software Engineer to lead AWS infrastructure operations, including EKS/Kubernetes, security controls and CI/CD pipelines. The role covers hybrid locations across Australia, with a focus on reliability, cost optimisation and secure deployments.

The successful candidate will have extensive AWS/Kubernetes experience, strong automation skills, and proven ability to work in complex, regulated environments.

Formación

• 3+ years hands-on AWS cloud infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on with EKS and Kubernetes (cluster admin, upgrades, troubleshooting).
• Experience in infrastructure automation and cloud engineering practices.
• Knowledge of AWS security architecture (IAM, WAF, RBAC, secrets management).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Argo CD or similar.
• Experience with monitoring/logging using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch or Dynatrace.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in Australian Government or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure operations for performance, availability, security and reliability.
• Administer AWS EKS and Kubernetes environments, including upgrades and patching.
• Develop automation to streamline operations and costs.
• Monitor platform performance and optimize resource utilisation.
• Maintain observability via Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch and Dynatrace.
• Implement AWS security controls including IAM, WAF, RBAC and secret management.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Argo CD for secure deployments.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement improvements.
