Job summary

Encore is seeking a Senior Technician to lead and deliver AV installations for hybrid and in-person events in Australia. You will coordinate on-site operations, work with top AV technicians, and ensure seamless client experiences.

The role requires demonstrated AV competency, experience with hybrid/virtual events, and strong communication. A rigging ticket is valued and the team focuses on delivering engaging experiences for clients and attendees.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to operate audio visual equipment.
• Experience with hybrid and virtual events.
• Camera operator skills are advantageous.
• Customer-centric and strong service orientation.
• Strong lighting knowledge and GrandMA familiarity.
• Understanding of video networking and LED walls.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain presentation standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication; professional appearance.
• Riggers ticket is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and hands-on deliver in installation, operation and removal of AV gear.
• Collaborate with senior production team and AV managers.
• Support customers and ensure meeting requirements for events.

The role

In this role you will provide leadership, coordination, and hands on delivery in the installation, operation, and removal of AV equipment. As a Senior Technician you will form part of the senior production team working with the most qualified and respected AV technicians and managers.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated competency in operating audio visual equipment
• Experience with Hybrid and Virtual events
• Camera Operator skills (advantageous)
• Customer centric and excellent customer service skills;
• Strong lighting abilities and knowledge of GrandMA, Advanced seamless switching experience, Camera Setup, video and data networking, LED Wall setup and programming
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• High standard of personal presentation
• Riggers Ticket (highly regarded)
