Job summary

Wood APAC Systems Integration is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead automation projects from early studies through to site commissioning in the Perth region. You will work with DCS/SCADA suites, engage directly with clients, and contribute to multi‑EPC programs across the APAC region.

The role emphasizes strong customer-facing capabilities, systems integration expertise, and hands-on experience with Honeywell Experion PKS and other DCS platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in control systems integration for oil & gas / energy projects.
• Hands-on with DCS/SCADA/HMI platforms and related architectures.
• Ability to engage customers and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Engage in all automation project phases from front-end engineering to commissioning.
• Design and implement automation systems for oil & gas / energy projects.
• Support site surveys, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities.
• Review project schedules and cost estimates and provide input.
• Assist procurement with vendor selection and clarifications.
