Job summary

Wood is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join the APAC Systems Integration team in Perth. You will contribute to the design, integration, and commissioning of automation solutions across energy and process industries, in a hybrid Perth-based role.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with DCS/PLC systems (Honeywell Experion PKS preferred), SIS/FGS, and safety instrumentation, plus strong client-facing and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in control systems integration for oil & gas projects.
• Hands-on with system platforms, OS and architectures.
• Knowledge of DCS/PLC projects and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage in all phases of automation projects from front-end engineering to commissioning.
• Design and implement automation systems for oil & gas and energy projects.
• Support FAT/SAT and site commissioning activities.
• Contribute to project schedules and cost estimates.
• Assist procurement with technical bid evaluations and vendor communications.
