Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia in Sydney (Bella Vista area) seeks a Senior Automation Test Analyst (Functional Testing) to deliver and improve test automation for critical payments settlements systems. The role focuses on optimizing frameworks, updating automated scripts, and ensuring smooth deployments while collaborating with stakeholders.

The position is a 12-month full-time fixed-term contract with hybrid work based in Bella Vista.

Qualifications

Must have hands-on experience with build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle) and source control (GitLab, SVN).
Must have experience in Selenium-Java.
Delivery of test automation frameworks, scripts and tools; Cucumber- Serenity is desirable.
Experience with testing tools (JIRA, Zephyr, database tools).
Proven experience in planning, support and testing of functional changes to mission critical systems.
Knowledge of Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes.
Knowledge of payment, clearing and settlement systems and related tech.
Strong interpersonal skills to influence and communicate with team and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Ensure systems, services, configurations, packages and interfaces perform as expected.
Drive optimisation of the test automation framework and scripts.
Update and create automated scripts to deliver rapid changes to PS systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the Payments Settlements department.
