Job summary
360 Engineering in Australia seeks a Senior Control System Engineer to design, program, test, commission and support SCADA, PLC, RTU, HMI and radio telemetry systems for critical infrastructure projects.
You will travel domestically to client sites, mentor junior staff, lead design and bid efforts, and ensure all work complies with WHS and quality standards while delivering robust automation solutions.
Qualifications
- 6+ years in telemetry or control systems in Water/Wastewater
- Relevant degree preferred, strong industry experience considered
- Strong communication and collaboration with clients and staff
- Experience leading multiple projects and mentoring juniors
- Hands-on design, programming, testing, commissioning and support of SCADA/PLC/RTU/HMI systems
- WHS and quality standards compliance
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver control system and telemetry projects across industries
- Design/implement Ethernet networking solutions
- Provide client training and support
- Mentor junior staff and lead engineering teams
- Lead bids, proposals and quotes development
- Perform maintenance and diagnostics on client systems
- Maintain WHS and quality standards in all work practices
