Job summary

360 Engineering is seeking an Experienced to Senior Control System Engineer to design and deliver automation projects for water, wastewater, mining, and manufacturing sectors in Australia. You will design, program, test, commission and support SCADA, PLC, RTU, HMI and radio telemetry systems; travel to client sites is involved.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in telemetry or control systems, a relevant degree is preferred but not essential with solid industry experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in telemetry and/or control systems within Water/Wastewater or related sectors
• Degree qualification is desirable but not mandatory with strong industry experience
• Strong communication with clients and project staff, both written and verbal
• Good understanding of networking and advanced computing concepts such as virtualization

Responsibilities

• Design, program, test, commission and support SCADA, PLC, RTU, HMI and radio telemetry systems
• Design Ethernet networks and implement solutions for clients
• Provide support and training to clients
• Assist with bids, proposals and quotes
• Perform maintenance and diagnostics on client systems
• Ensure all work complies with WHS and Quality standards
