Job summary

NEC Australia Pty Ltd seeks a Lead Enterprise Automation to own the strategy, architecture and delivery of our automation capability. You will lead initiatives across infrastructure, cloud and ITSM, using Ansible, Python and PowerShell to transform operations and enable AI-enabled services.

You will collaborate with technical and business leaders to identify opportunities, govern the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and deliver scalable automation across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in automation, DevOps, or enterprise IT infrastructure.
• 5+ years with Ansible/AWX/Red Hat AAP.
• Experience designing large-scale automation across servers, networks, cloud, security, and operations.
• Strong Python, PowerShell, and REST API development skills.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale automation and technology transformation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder and leadership skills.

You'll lead the strategy, architecture and delivery of automation solutions using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Python and PowerShell, helping transform operations, improve service quality and enable future AI‑driven capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead NEC's enterprise automation strategy and roadmap.
• Own and govern the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Design and deliver automation across infrastructure, cloud, networks, security and ITSM.

About You

• 8+ years in automation, DevOps, enterprise IT infrastructure or managed services.
• 5+ years' experience with Ansible, AWX or Red Hat AAP.
• Proven experience designing and implementing large‑scale automation solutions across server, network, cloud, security and operational environments.
• Strong automation development skills in Python, PowerShell and REST APIs.
• Experience delivering enterprise‑scale automation and technology transformation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder and leadership skills.
