Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Senior Analyst for Australia REITs to join the Global Investment Research team in Sydney/Melbourne. You will analyze individual REITs, develop investment opinions, and publish timely reports for clients and internal stakeholders.

The role requires 3+ years in equity research focusing on REITs, strong modelling skills, and fluency in English. You will collaborate with a cross‑functional team, build client relationships, and mentor junior staff, while delivering insights

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years equity research experience covering REITs
CA/CFA designation or Bachelor/Master in finance/economics
Strong understanding of the Australia REITs sectors and macro economy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Excellent modelling skills with solid accounting/financial fundamentals
Highly analytical thinker and writer
Ability to respond quickly to changing situations
Well-developed commercial attitude and client marketing/relationship management skills
Demonstrable time management and prioritization skills

Responsibilities

Analyze individual companies within the Australia REITs sector and publish reports
Collaborate with the REITs team on industry/sector projects, analyze market share, macro trends, cross‑company analysis
Produce regular reports and contribute to sector views and news flow
Develop financial models and interpret data on market, economic and political events
Build strong relationships with the Equities sales force, traders, clients and management
Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members
