Job summary

Goldman Sachs Australia is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Global Investment Research team in Sydney/Melbourne, focusing on Australia REITs. You will perform in-depth equity analysis, publish research, and contribute to investment ideas for clients.

The role collaborates with regional teams, develops financial models, and communicates insights to sales, traders, and management. Strong English, 3+ years REITs experience, and CFA/CA are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of equity research experience covering REITs.
• CA/CFA qualification or a Bachelor/Master in finance/economics.
• Strong understanding of the Australia REIT sector and macro economy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Strong modelling skills and solid accounting/financial fundamentals.
• Highly analytical thinker with good writing ability.
• Ability to respond quickly to changing situations; strong time management and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze individual companies within the Australia REIT sector and publish reports.
• Initiate sales calls and market investment opinions to clients.
• Collaborate with Regional Financial Sector team on sector projects.
• Develop financial models and interpret market, economic, and political data.
• Maintain regular communication with equities sales force, traders, clients and company management.
• Mentor junior team members to build technical and soft skills.
