The ideal candidate has 6+ years in project finance, strong modelling and client skills, and a network in mining or infrastructure sectors; proficiency in credit analysis and deal leadership is valued.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in business, maths or science; legal training noted.
• 6+ years in project finance, banking or advisory with a commercial bank or fund.
• Experience with financial modelling.
• Ability to manage deal teams and client interactions.
• Attention to detail, strong communication and team work.
• Networking within project finance, mining/infrastructure exposure preferred.
• Senior associate ready to move to junior associate director level.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and market studies on target industries and regulations.
• Assist senior leadership to review opportunities and prepare term sheets and pitches.
• Provide structuring inputs for new transactions via credit analysis and modelling.
• Prepare memos with commercial/credit recommendations.
• Lead/assist with credit papers through internal processes.
• Negotiate and review finance documentation to close live transactions.
• Monitor credit risks and maintain stakeholder relationships across teams.
