Qualifications

• Genuine asphalt, pavement or closely related civil construction experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of asphalt paving, asphalt repairs, pavement maintenance and associated civil works.
• Demonstrated experience estimating, quoting or tendering asphalt or civil projects, including larger or more complex work.
• Ability to inspect a job, understand the scope and resources required, and build a commercially sound price.

Responsabilités

• Actively identify and pursue new asphalt and civil work opportunities.
• Develop new client relationships while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
• Respond to enquiries, RFQs and tender opportunities and actively follow them through.
• Meet clients, undertake site inspections and measure proposed works.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work and tender documentation.
• Calculate areas, quantities and asphalt tonnages and determine labour, plant, materials, cartage, traffic management and subcontractor requirements.
