Roadsafe Asphalt Vic in Melbourne, VIC seeks a Project Engineer (Civil Engineer) to drive estimating, planning and execution of asphalt paving projects. You will quote projects, manage budgets, and coordinate with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure profitability and timely delivery.

The role requires a civil engineering background with 3–5 years of project engineering experience in asphalt or civil construction, plus strong MS Project and AutoCAD skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in asphalt paving or civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of asphalt paving techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (MS Project, AutoCAD).
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Estimating and quoting: prepare accurate estimates and quotes for projects based on detailed analysis.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure requirements are met.
• Review technical drawings and provide guidance to project teams.
• Oversee quality control and assurance to meet specifications.
• Manage day-to-day project activities including resources and procurement.
• Ensure safety protocols and regulations are followed on-site.
• Prepare detailed project reports on progress, financials, and deviations.
