Job summary

Roadsafe Asphalt Vic is seeking a Project Engineer (Civil) based in Melbourne, to lead estimating, planning and execution of asphalt projects across Victoria. You will collaborate with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to drive profitability, safety and on-time delivery.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
3-5 years of project engineering experience in asphalt paving or civil construction.
Proficiency in project management software (MS Project) and AutoCAD.
Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Estimating and quoting projects to ensure profitability.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Provide technical guidance and oversee quality control and assurance on site.
Manage day-to-day project activities including resource allocation and procurement.
Maintain client and stakeholder communication with progress reports and meetings.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
