NBRS is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to lead multiple projects across Sydney and Melbourne, delivering design through to construction.
You will mentor juniors, coordinate consultants, ensure quality and compliance with NCC and Australian standards, and drive architecture advocacy within a multidisciplinary team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Architect to join NBRS and play a key role in delivering exceptional projects across a diverse portfolio across Sydney and Melbourne.
Do you believe designing the built environment is a powerful vehicle for change?
At NBRS, we are driven by the belief that design should improve the well-being of our society and leave a lasting, positive impact on communities. We are dedicated to creating built environment solutions that support fundamental human activities: education, healing, gathering, celebrating, and socialising.
Our award-recognized designs are the result of robust, in-house dialogue from our resolute design collective, bringing together architecture, landscape architecture, heritage, and interior design. The results are contextual, inspirational, people-focused, and deeply sensitive to both environmental and cultural contexts.
We're committed to helping every team member build a thriving career through ongoing development and mentoring along a rich professional journey. Our 9-day fortnight initiative reflects our dedication to supporting the health and wellbeing of everyone at NBRS.
As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects through all stages of design and delivery. You will prepare and present project reports to internal and external stakeholders, coordinate consultants, maintain project quality, and ensure successful project outcomes.
The role requires the ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver quality outcomes with minimal supervision while seeking guidance on complex or unusual project matters.
In addition to project delivery responsibilities, you will contribute to architectural advocacy through involvement in professional organisations and provide technical guidance, reviews, and mentoring to junior team members.
At NBRS, we are committed to helping you achieve your full potential. You will be challenged, motivated, and developed within a supportive work environment that values creativity and innovation.
We promote an inclusive culture that respects and celebrates our unique abilities and differences. We strive to create a safe environment where everyone can thrive by recognizing talent, promoting inclusion, and celebrating diversity. With us, you will join a team that actively encourages growth, promotes flexibility, and genuinely cares about personal well-being. No matter how you identify, we encourage talented people from all backgrounds, abilities, and identities to apply.
