Fujitsu is seeking a Senior Application Developer to join our team in Australia. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications, and contribute to technical design and solution discussions.

You will write high-quality, secure, and maintainable code, participate in code reviews and testing activities, and support maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives within an Agile delivery context.

Qualifications

  • Proficient with HTML and CSS, and capable of building React components.
  • Experience with SQL Server (2016/2022) and IIS administration.
  • Familiarity with software testing, QA, and CI/CD practices.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Application Developer to join our team.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Participate in code reviews and testing activities.
  • Support application maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to technical design and solution discussions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse business and technical requirements and contribute to solution design.
  • Design, develop, test, and implement application enhancements and new features.
  • Produce high-quality, secure, and maintainable code aligned with development standards.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and promote development best practices.
  • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts where required.
  • Execute unit, system, and integration testing activities.
  • Analyse and resolve defects, performance issues, and technical problems.
  • Support application maintenance, incident resolution, and defect remediation activities.
  • Contribute to technical documentation for users, developers, and support teams.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering, quality, security, and project delivery standards.
  • Build effective working relationships with customers, business users, and project stakeholders.
  • Contribute to estimation, planning, and delivery activities.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across applications and development processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior developers where required.
  • Work collaboratively within Agile delivery teams to achieve project and operational outcomes.
