NSW Treasury is seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that support performance management and informed decision-making across Treasury.

You will analyze complex data from multiple systems, applying validation and testing to identify trends and insights, strengthen data quality, and support a single source of truth. The role sits in the Financial Management and Services Group within ICT & Asset Services.

Qualifikationen

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Query, DAX and data modelling.
• Strong SQL capability and experience with complex datasets, enterprise data sources or data warehouses.
• Experience delivering business intelligence solutions from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Talend, Power Apps or Power Automate, together with Python, R or similar analytics technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including validating business logic, identifying data quality risks and translating findings into insights and recommendations.
• Strong data visualisation and reporting capability, understanding of user-centred design, governance, security, data integrity and performance.

• Translate business needs into analytics products and support self-service analytics through training and documentation.
