Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience extracting, cleansing and transforming data for analysis.
• Ability to interpret and present datasets to stakeholders.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, Databricks or SQL.
• Strong economic/financial or budget analysis capabilities.
• Solid problem-solving and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and update models in Alteryx to quantify revenue impacts of proposed policy changes.
• Collaborate with investigation officers to refine Power BI dashboards identifying revenue risks.
• Extract datasets for Royalty or Payroll Tax teams to support operations.
• Investigate unexpected reporting results and prepare explanations for the Senior Executive Team.
• Update royalty revenue forecasts based on latest data and identify drivers of change.
• Work with analysts to update models when underlying systems change.
