Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead the design, implementation and maintenance of AML/CTF programs within the Financial Crime Risk function. You will help strengthen the risk management framework to protect customers and communities from financial crime.

In this permanent, hybrid role, you will collaborate with senior leaders to transform regulatory obligations into practical policies and guidance, enabling effective risk management across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Solid financial crime risk knowledge with proven application.
• Experience with financial crime policies, programs, frameworks, and governance models.
• Experience in driving financial crime risk management across an enterprise-wide risk level at a financial institution.
• Proven policy, standards, and report drafting skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Help protect the bank from regulatory, reputational, and financial risks by building robust AML/CTF programs.
• Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of group-wide AML/CTF policies and guidance.
• Identify, understand, and interpret financial crime obligations and best practices to inform program design.
• Translate complex obligations into practical policies so employees can meet their financial crime risk obligations.
