Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking a Senior Analyst for the Financial Crime Intelligence Unit. You will identify emerging financial crime threats and translate intelligence into actionable typologies used across AML/CTF, sanctions, and fraud controls.

You will develop typologies, inform risk positions, and collaborate with risk solution teams to embed detection across BEN's operations. Prior experience in banking and regulatory alignment is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial crime typologies including ML/TF
• Experience applying AML/CTF, sanctions and fraud controls
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and reports

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging and evolving financial crime threats
• Develop and maintain financial crime typologies for detection
• Support risk assessment and regulatory alignment across teams
• Consult with internal stakeholders and provide SME guidance
• Present findings to governance forums and working groups
