Bendigo Bank is seeking a Senior Analyst in the Financial Crime Intelligence Unit to identify emerging financial crime threats and translate intelligence into actionable typologies used across AML/CTF, sanctions, fraud and scams. This role is central to maintaining alignment with regulatory expectations and industry practices.

Qualifications

Demonstrated and in-depth experience with financial crime typologies, ML/TF methods, red flag indicators.
Experience in applying preventative and detective controls in banking/financial services.
Ability to extract actionable insights from large data sets and translate into business recommendations.
Experience in financial crime investigations and operations in banking, AUSTRAC, or similar institutions.

Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise on financial crime typologies, methods and trends to inform operations.
Mentor and uplift the analytical capabilities of the FCIU to support operational excellence.
Gather intelligence to inform risk positions and support uplift of the FC control framework.
