Job summary

Telcoin Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a hands-on AML/CTF Compliance Officer to lead compliance for the Australian business. You will act as the designated AML/CTF officer and main AUSTRAC liaison, shaping the compliance program across regulatory reporting, sanctions, and data privacy.

Roles include implementing controls, overseeing monitoring and analytics for digital asset activity, and delivering training to staff and leadership while collaborating with the global compliance team.

Qualifications

• Experience in AML/CTF compliance for financial services, fintech or digital assets.
• Familiarity with AUSTRAC registrations, reporting and regulatory engagement.
• Understanding of AML/CTF Act 2006, Corporations Act 2001 and Privacy Act 1988.

Responsibilities

• Act as AML/CTF Compliance Officer and primary AUSTRAC contact.
• Maintain AUSTRAC registrations including VASPs and independent remittance dealer registrations.
• Own AML/CTF program under the AML/CTF Act and Rules, including risk assessments and controls.
• Oversee transaction monitoring, blockchain analytics and travel rule obligations.
• Provide training on AML/CTF and compliance to staff and board.
