Qualifikationen

• Proven compliance experience in Australian financial services, ideally with an AFSL holder or AUSTRAC-regulated business.
• Strong working knowledge of the Corporations Act, ASIC Act, AML/CTF Act and AUSTRAC requirements.
• Genuine understanding of crypto (blockchains, wallets, stablecoins, exchanges, on/off-ramps) and regulatory risks.

Aufgaben

• AFSL: Support ASIC responses during assessment and own ongoing Corporations Act obligations.
• AML/CTF: Own the program (CDD, transaction monitoring, SMR submissions) and be AUSTRAC contact.
• Crypto and product: Assess coins, networks, partners, and features against Australian regulation.
• Consumer protection: Oversee Australian Consumer Law and related obligations.
• Governance: Report to head office in Europe and align with group framework.
