Job summary

Air Link Engineering, part of Aviation Logistics Group, seeks a B1/B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join the Cairns Part 145 facility. You will perform maintenance, repairs and inspections on Beech 200, Cessna 208B and Cessna 441, ensuring airworthiness and safety.

The role requires CASA Part 66 B1/B2 licences, 5+ years of experience, and strong regulatory knowledge. You will work with senior engineers, support apprentices, and maintain rigorous records.

Qualifications

• Valid CASA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 Licence with preference for Beech 200, Cessna 208B, Cessna 400 Series experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and maintenance practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance on Beech 200, Cessna 208B and Cessna 441 aircraft.
• Perform scheduled inspections, troubleshoot, and rectify defects.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities in accordance with AMOE.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team for efficient workflow and turnaround.
• Provide on-the-job training and support to junior engineers and apprentices.
