Job summary

UPS is seeking a Senior Freight Officer in Botany, Sydney, to lead end-to-end air import shipments. You will coordinate with customers, transport providers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate documentation.

The role requires strong experience in air import operations, CW1 expertise, and excellent stakeholder management. You will act as a key escalation point for operational issues and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in freight forwarding with air import operations experience.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end air import shipments and documentation.
• Experience using CW1, ICS, and Expedient systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end air import freight operations from arrival to final delivery.
• Prepare and process shipping docs including AWBs and invoices.
• Maintain shipment data in systems and provide proactive updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate under-bond transfers and local cartage in Sydney region.
• Escalate issues to the Air Import Team Leader as needed.
