Job summary

First Logistics Australia is seeking an experienced Airfreight Operator to take end-to-end ownership of air import and export shipments from Prestons, NSW. The role focuses on delivering proactive client service, strong relationships with partners, and timely problem-solving to support growth.

You’ll report to the Freight Team Lead and work within a close-knit operations team, ensuring accurate documentation, costing, and service quality across both imports and exports.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years Australian airfreight operations experience.
• CargoWise experience is essential.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Managing Air Import and Export shipments from start to finish.
• Providing proactive shipment updates to clients daily.
• Liaising with overseas agents, airlines, terminals, customs brokers and transport providers.
• Coordinating customs and quarantine requirements.
• Rating, job costing and invoicing.
• Identifying issues early and proposing practical solutions.
• Collaborating with the Freight and Operations teams to optimise outcomes.
