OnCloud Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to help design, build and scale a unified AI assistant platform within a large organisation. You will own core components, governance, and data/model foundations while coordinating with enterprise stakeholders.

The role is hands-on, requiring deep expertise in AI systems, orchestration, and scalable cloud-based deployments. Collaboration across delivery teams and architecture is essential.

Formación

• Senior-level experience building production AI, LLM or conversational AI systems.
• Strong hands-on skills across the AI stack (RAG, data pipelines, model serving, memory/state, observability).
• Solid software engineering fundamentals: API design, distributed systems, cloud platforms, CI/CD and testing.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain core components of the AI assistant platform, including the front door experience.
• Engineer across the control plane and runtime layer: agent registry, evaluations, observability, orchestration, inference and memory.
• Build and integrate data and model foundations: retrieval pipelines, model selection and serving, prompt/context management.
• Implement governance, identity and access controls across agents.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap by estimating effort and dependencies.
• Define engineering standards and best practices for building, testing, deploying and monitoring AI agents and LLM-based services.
• Provide technical guidance and code reviews for delivery teams; mentor other engineers.
• Write and maintain design docs, architecture decisions and runbooks.
