Job summary

Domain is seeking a Senior Manager of AI/ML Engineering in Australia. You will lead a high-impact team, setting technical direction and prototyping approaches while staying close to systems to ensure sound decisions.

You will partner with product, engineering, marketing and sales to drive AI initiatives and data platforms that enable rapid product development. You will own the AI platform's roadmap, production ML pipelines and data foundations, including pricing models for Australian residential

Qualifications

Leadership track record — substantial experience in AI/ML or data engineering, including several years leading and growing engineering teams.
Hands-on engineering — you design and prototype, guide others to production, and own it there.
Production ML depth — strong foundation in production ML systems, CI/CD/CT, monitoring and cost management at scale.
Generative AI in production — experience with LLM/VLM or agent-based apps, evaluation and deployment patterns.
Data & cloud foundations — proficiency with Snowflake, dbt, Airflow and a major cloud platform (AWS).
Platform thinking — owning or building an AI/ML platform and roadmap.
Experience in property, marketplaces, or large-scale consumer data products.
A degree in a related field; strong community engagement.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and grow a team of senior ML engineers and data/platform engineers.
Define and maintain Domain's AI platform and maturity roadmap.
Own end-to-end ML pricing pipeline for Australian residential property.
Oversee data pipelines, warehouse infrastructure and data products used via APIs.
