Job summary

Xero is seeking a Senior Engineer - AI Builder to design and ship internal tools that remove toil across Product & Technology. You will automate essential operating rhythms and empower leaders and frontline teams to focus on innovative product launches.

You will apply AI techniques to build scalable software, connect key data systems, and mentor colleagues in modern AI tooling, while embracing a collaborative, high-performing culture.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python or TypeScript with full-stack tooling experience.
• Hands-on AI tooling experience and coding agents.
• Ability to evaluate build vs. low-code and extend SaaS platforms.
• Experience integrating systems via APIs and data structures.
• Strong product mindset and rapid prototyping.

Responsibilities
