Job summary

The Tasmanian Health Service, part of the Tasmanian Government, is seeking a dedicated professional for the Aged Care Reform Unit to meet contractual requirements from the Australian Government. This full-time role involves working within the statewide health service to support aged care services and reforms.

The position emphasizes policy development, data and financial analysis, and strong communication skills to influence and deliver outcomes in a changing environment.

Qualifications

• Significant expertise and experience in policy and service development, data and financial analysis, research, evaluation and review.
• Proven project and/or change management skills including planning, managing risk, coordinating resources, interpersonal relations, time management and the ability to influence people.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of program management and understanding of the aged care programmes in these contexts.
• Demonstrated capacity to effectively contribute to a high performing team, including the ability to be adaptable and flexible to achieve results in an environment of change, ambiguity and pressure.
• Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write complex documents within short timeframes under minimal supervision.
• Ability to effectively represent the organisation with the authority to successfully negotiate and conclude outcomes that meet the specific requirements and program and service delivery objectives.
