Tasmanian Government seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing - Aged Care Reform to lead strategic initiatives and provide expert guidance across Tasmania’s aged care services.

Based in the Aged Care Reform Unit, you will align service planning with national reforms and regulatory requirements, fostering stakeholder networks and ensuring high-quality care for older Tasmanians.

Permanent full-time role, commencing January 2027, with attractive benefits and a salary of AU$142,632 per annum.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
• WWVPR – NDIS endorsed.
• Desirable postgraduate qualification with leadership/aged care focus.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist guidance on health and aged care regulatory requirements and reforms.
• Build networks between internal and external stakeholders to improve care services in Tasmania.
• Promote statewide standards of care through policy development and health service strategy.
