The Department of Health Tasmania is seeking a Senior Advisor - Safety and Quality (Aged Care Reform Unit) to coordinate statewide safety, quality, and governance improvement efforts. You will provide expert advice to strengthen governance, risk management, and quality systems across aged care services in the public system.

Permanent full-time role based in Hobart, with opportunities to influence accreditation standards and reform implementation under the Aged Care Act 2024.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated knowledge of health and aged care governance.
• Experience in safety and quality activities in health/aged care.
• Knowledge of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate statewide safety, quality, and performance reporting to support monitoring, accountability, regulatory compliance, and improvement.
• Support development and review of statewide clinical governance frameworks and tools aligned with aged care standards and reforms.
• Provide advice to strengthen governance, risk management, and quality systems including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
