Job summary

Tasmania Government seeks a Senior Advisor - Safety and Quality (Aged Care Reform Unit) to coordinate statewide safety, quality and performance reporting, supporting governance frameworks aligned with aged care standards.

You will advise on governance, risk, and quality improvements, and contribute to the implementation of Aged Care Reforms across Tasmanian Health Service facilities. This is a permanent full-time role based in Tasmania.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in health and aged care governance.
• Experience in safety and quality activities within healthcare or aged care.
• Understanding of accreditation and regulatory frameworks including NSQHS and aged care standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate statewide safety, quality, and performance reporting for consistent monitoring and improvement.
• Support development and review of statewide clinical governance frameworks and tools.
• Provide advice to strengthen governance, risk management, and quality systems.
