Job summary

Gallagher is a global leader in insurance broking, risk management and consulting, seeking a qualified lawyer to manage Liability and Safeguarding Claims with strong advocacy for clients.

The role requires at least 3 years' experience in related matters, with a focus on claims management, policy coverage, and client outcomes. You will build relationships with clients, insurers, brokers and service providers, delivering timely, accurate documentation and service.

Qualifications

• Qualified Lawyer with 3+ years' experience in personal injury, litigation, liability, or safeguarding matters.
• Strong understanding of claims management, policy coverage, and achieving optimal client outcomes.
• Proven stakeholder management, negotiation, mediation, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Liability and Safeguarding Claims, delivering strong advocacy and optimal outcomes for clients.
• Provide claims advice and technical support to clients, brokers, and account management teams.
• Assess coverage, interpret policy wordings, and negotiate effectively with insurers and key stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, lawyers, and service providers.
• Ensure timely, accurate claims management, documentation, and service delivery in line with Gallagher processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes, support business initiatives, and stay informed on industry and legal developments.
