Job summary

Port Stephens Council is seeking a Senior Administrator to join the Facilities & Infrastructure team, supporting the newly created Project Delivery Section. The role focuses on coordinating daily tasks, managing correspondence, and assisting with process improvements, reporting to the Administration Coordinator.

The permanent, full-time position offers a 35-hour work week with flexible arrangements. Base salary ranges from $72,385 to $84,985 per year, plus 12% superannuation and a retention

Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant field and extensive proven experience in a similar role.
• Well-developed Microsoft Office Suite skills at an advanced level.
• Demonstrated well developed written and oral communication.
• Discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive business matters.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily work tasks and acknowledge enquiries and correspondence.
• Provide email and calendar management support.
• Assist with implementing process improvement initiatives.
• Support the Section Manager and liaise with the broader section Coordinators.
