Job summary

Pacific Life is seeking a Senior Actuary (FSA) to join our Consumer Markets Division FP&A team, shaping the future of life insurance and annuity solutions. The role is on-site 4 days per week with one remote day, relocation assistance available for offices in Newport Beach, CA, Omaha, NE, or Charlotte, NC.

You will lead predictive analytics, develop models, and drive forecasting accuracy to inform executive decisions across LDTI US GAAP, statutory, and economic frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• FSA designation with 6+ years of insurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of life and annuity products.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced driver analysis across multiple product lines.
• Develop predictive models and reporting tools for investment income, option costs, and reserve attributions.
• Communicate financial impacts of capital market changes across US GAAP, statutory, and economic frameworks.
• Innovate forecasting methodologies and integrate feedback loops to improve accuracy.
• Shape executive decisions through scenario modeling and insights.
