Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking an experienced Active Directory Engineer to design, implement, and optimise enterprise identity services across our secure ICT environment in Canberra. You will secure access, maintain resilience, and reduce risk by applying best practices in AD, DNS, Group Policy, and hybrid identity.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud teams to deliver reliable identity services, automate tasks with PowerShell, and contribute to transformation

Qualifications

• Experience administering AD DS, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows authentication.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity integration.
• Understanding of identity security, privileged access, and disaster recovery.
• Ability to troubleshoot, communicate with stakeholders, and lead investigations.

Responsibilities

• Administer, secure, and maintain enterprise Active Directory environments.
• Support hybrid identity services and Entra ID integration.
• Monitor health, performance, and resilience of AD and related services.
• Develop PowerShell automation and documentation for standards.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and cloud teams to remediate identity risks.
