Job summary

Monash University is seeking an experienced Active Directory Engineer to shape and support its global Core Authentication Services environment. You will design, enhance and maintain identity, authentication and authorisation services across on-premise and cloud platforms.

You’ll work across Microsoft technologies, delivering upgrades, architecture guidance and third-level support while strengthening security and reliability for a global user base.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise across Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure, AWS, SQL and NPS.
• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and maintaining Microsoft server environments.
• Windows Server administration and management for highly available authentication services.
• Experience developing policies, procedures, standards and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Microsoft authentication services across on-premise and cloud.
• Deliver new services and upgrades, providing third-level support.
• Contribute to architecture to improve reliability, resilience and security.
• Develop policies, procedures, standards and technical documentation.
• Lead automation and scripting to improve efficiency and service management.
