Job summary

Carpet Court is seeking a Senior Accounts Administrator in Perth to manage a busy office and support the Managing Director. You’ll handle inventory, invoicing, payments, payroll, data entry and general administration while maintaining strong internal and external relationships.

Ideal candidates have at least five years in accounts administration, excellent communication, high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a similar role – Accounts Administration (preferred)
  • Experience in stock control, warehousing environment
  • Demonstrates a high level of communication (verbal and written) and data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to prioritize and perform duties in a fast paced and varied role with strong organizational skills
  • Experience in working collaboratively, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Track record in creating strategies to drive and deliver continuous improvement
  • Moderate to advanced Microsoft Office capability and to learn new internal programs and technology
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, and commitment

Carpet Court is part of Australia's largest floor and window covering retail specialist with over 200 stores across the country. We have two retail stores south of the river with a Luxaflex Gallery store in one of our retail shops along with a separate Commercial division.

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and detail-orientedSenior Accounts Administrator. You'll play a key role in the team, managing a busy office, while also supporting the Managing Director. Responsibilities will include;

  • Inventory management and stock control
  • Payroll processing and HR
  • Receiving, reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy and completeness before processing payments
  • Ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, adhering to payment terms and schedules

What We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator who is capable of managing a busy workload. This is a varied, fast paced and pivotal role and requires a high level of organization, problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
