Job summary

Internationalinsuranceprofessionals in Perth’s Western Suburbs seeks a Senior Accountant to join a small, highly capable finance team within a private family office. You will manage accounting across a multi-entity structure, including trusts, and contribute to investment and treasury reporting.

The successful candidate will bring CA/CPA qualifications with 3–5 years post-qualification experience, strong Xero and advanced Excel skills, and an interest in AI-driven automation to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA-qualified or substantially complete
• Three to five years of post-qualification experience
• Sound knowledge of Australian trust and company taxation and indirect tax compliance

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close activities across multiple entities including bank, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist in preparing financial statements, management accounts and tax work papers
• Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, payroll tax and FBT returns
• Assist with foreign currency revaluations and treasury administration, including cash flow reporting
• Support investment portfolio reporting, expense analysis, annual budgeting and budget vs actual reporting
• Assist with ASIC lodgements, entity registers and investment compliance obligations
• Own accounts payable function: invoice workflows, payment runs and month-end reconciliations
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver timely financial reporting and insights
• Drive continuous improvement using AI and automation in finance processes
