Job summary

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is seeking three Senior Engagement and Programs Officers to join the Aboriginal Outcomes Branch. Based regionally in NSW, these roles are relationship‑driven and focus on social, economic and cultural outcomes for Aboriginal people and communities.

Qualifications

Essential requirements include Aboriginal identity under the NSW Anti‑discrimination Act, possession of a current NSW Driver's License, and willingness to travel.
A current NSW Working with Children’s Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Manage projects from inception to completion, including plans, budgets, milestones and delivery.
Deliver culturally appropriate consultation to identify community aspirations and needs.
Embed Aboriginal cultural principles and protocols into regional operations and build networks with communities and stakeholders.
Provide expert advice on Closing the Gap initiatives and prepare high‑quality reports and briefings.
