Job summary

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is seeking Senior Engagement and Programs Officers for the Aboriginal Outcomes Branch, with roles based regionally across NSW and a flexible/hybrid working environment.

These positions focus on delivering culturally appropriate programs and strong relationships with Aboriginal communities, stakeholders and partner services, to advance outcomes and Closing the Gap initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering place-based community programs.
• Ability to build and sustain relationships with Aboriginal communities and stakeholders.
• Understanding of cultural principles and protocols in regional operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from inception to completion with plans, budgets and milestones.
• Deliver culturally appropriate consultation mechanisms to identify community needs and priorities.
• Provide guidance on practices promoting a culturally safer workplace and Aboriginal protocols.
• Prepare reports, briefs and communications on Closing the Gap initiatives for diverse audiences.
