Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Australia is seeking an experienced security-focused developer to implement and manage authentication and authorization across enterprise apps. You will work with Auth0, OAuth/ OIDC and SAML, integrating Java/Spring Boot and .NET systems, and ensure robust JWT-based security and MFA capabilities.

You will participate in secure API protection, account for machine-to-machine scenarios, and advance authentication strategies across local and global projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Auth0 implementation across Universal Login and related areas.
• Deep knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC and SAML 2.0, including flows and security risks.
• Experience integrating Java/Spring Boot and .NET with APIs and middleware.
• Practical JWT validation, JWKS, signing algorithms and token controls.
• Experience deploying client credentials / machine-to-machine setups.
• Exposure to MFA, WebAuthn, passwordless auth and adaptive authentication.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

• Strong hands-on Auth0 implementation experience across Universal Login, custom databases, enterprise federation, Actions, tenant administration, branding, custom domains, and Auth0 APIs.
• Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML 2.0 beyond configuration, including common flows, protocol messages, token types, trust boundaries, and security risks.
• Proven application integration experience with Java / Spring Boot and .NET, including SDK or middleware configuration, callback handling, session management, and API protection.
• Practical expertise in JWT validation, JWKS and signing algorithms, issuer and audience checks, refresh token rotation, scopes, permissions, roles, and custom claims.
• Experience setting up machine-to-machine applications using the client credentials flow and integrating protected APIs.
• Working knowledge of MFA, WebAuthn / passkeys, passwordless authentication, account recovery, and adaptive or step-up authentication patterns.
