Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Australia is seeking a skilled Application Developer to design, build and optimize full-stack applications using C#, .NET, and modern frontend tech. You will translate business needs into robust software and collaborate with analysts, architects, QA, and DevOps.

You’ll contribute to API development, cloud-ready deployments, testing, and continuous improvement, while aligning with agile practices and security standards.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with C#, REST API Development, HTML5, CSS3, Vue.js 3.
• Experience with EF Core, SQL Server or other relational databases, Git-based source control and branching strategies.
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Application Development:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance full-stack applications using C# and .NET technologies.
• Develop and support RESTful APIs, backend services, and application integrations.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code aligned with engineering standards and best practices.
• Contribute to application modernization, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Solution Delivery:

• Translate business requirements and technical specifications into robust and scalable solutions.
• Perform impact analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause investigations.
• Support application deployments, release activities, and production environments.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to ensure successful delivery.

Quality & Continuous Improvement:

• Develop and maintain unit tests while supporting automated testing initiatives.
• Participate in peer code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Ensure applications meet security, reliability, scalability, and performance standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve application architecture, development processes, and coding practices.
