Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Australia is hiring an AWS Cloud Security Engineer in the Australia-Pacific region. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in cloud security, focusing on governance, IAM controls, and automated security remediations within AWS multi-account environments.

Location is Sydney or Melbourne with a full-time permanent role. The position emphasizes policy as code, security automation, and seamless integration with CI/CD for compliant, secure deployments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cloud security engineering.
• Experience with multi-account AWS environments and governance.
• Proficient in Python or PowerShell scripting and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS Organizations and SCP/RCP governance across multi-account environments.
• Establish and enforce IAM, permission boundaries, and access control models.
• Develop scripting and automation for security controls using Python/PowerShell.
• Leverage AWS security services (Config, CloudTrail) and Policy as Code for compliance.
• Build automated security controls and remediation workflows; integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.

• AWS Organizations and SCP / RCP design and implementation.
• Cloud security governance and guardrails across multi account AWS environments.
