Job summary

Lumia Care is seeking Community Support Workers to join our growing team in Parramatta/Sydney (Girraween) supporting elderly clients living in their homes. Flexible hours, rewarding work, and a great team culture await you.

You will provide social support, transport, shopping assistance and meaningful outings in the community, while delivering personal care to help clients remain independent at home with domestic support and meals. A valid driver’s license and checks are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Current First Aid certificate, Police check, NDIS Worker screening check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is a MUST.
• Experience in aged care within the community is highly desirable.

• Your role will involve supporting clients in the community by providing social support, transport, shopping assistance and meaningful outings in the community. Delivering personal care with dignity and helping clients stay independent at home through domestic support, meal preparation and warm, reliable companionship.

• Wide variety of shifts available Monday – Friday 7am-3pm (minimum 2 days availability required)
• What we are looking for:
• A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST.
• Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.
• Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is highly desirable, current Nursing students will also be considered.
• Experience in aged care within the community is highly desirable.
• A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle is a MUST.
• Current First Aid certificate, Police check, NDIS Worker screening check and Working with Children Check (mandatory) or willingness to obtain.
