Lumia Care is seeking compassionate Community Support Workers to assist elderly clients in the Sutherland region to live safely at home and stay connected with their community. You will provide social support, companionship, and practical help in daily tasks.

Join a team that offers structured induction, regular mentoring, and weekday rosters (Mon-Fri, 7am-5pm) with a focus on dignity, respect, and person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Experience in community/aged care is preferred.
• Cert III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, Community or nursing studies preferred.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid/ CPR, Police Check, NDIS, WWCC or current checks.

We're urgently looking for Community Support Workers living in the Sutherland region. In this rewarding role, you'll support elderly clients to live safely and independently in their own homes, while staying connected to their community.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing social support, companionship, and meaningful engagement
• Assisting with transport, shopping, and outings
• Delivering personal care with dignity and respect
• Supporting with domestic tasks and meal preparation

• Minimum 3 days availability required

What We're Looking For

• Caring, empathetic, and reliable individuals
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Cert III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, Community (or studying Nursing - highly regarded)
• Community/aged care experience
• Driver's licence + reliable insured vehicle (essential)
• Current checks (or willingness to obtain): First Aid/CPR, Police Check, NDIS, WWCC
