Job summary

Lumia Care Pty is hiring Community Support Workers to join our growing team across North Ryde, Kellyville, Marsden Park and Rouse Hill in New South Wales. You will support elderly clients living at home with social engagement, transport, shopping, and outings, while delivering personal care with dignity and aiding independence.

We offer mentor support, paid induction, and professional development with a variety of shifts (Mon–Fri 7am–3pm; minimum 2 days).

Qualifications

• Empathy, caring and patient demeanor are essential.
• Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
• Current First Aid certificate and background checks (Police, NDIS Worker screening, WWCC) or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in the community with social activities, transport, and shopping assistance.
• Provide personal care with dignity and help clients stay independent at home.
• Assist with domestic tasks, meal preparation and companionship during outings.
• Maintain safe, respectful interactions and document care activities as needed.

We have an exciting opportunity for Community Support Workers to join our growing team in the North Ryde, Kellyville, Marsden park, Rouse Hill supporting elderly clients living in their homes and making a genuine difference every day with flexible hours, rewarding work, and a great team culture.

About The Role

• Your role will involve supporting clients in the community by providing social support, transport, shopping assistance and meaningful outings in the community. Delivering personal care with dignity and helping clients stay independent at home through domestic support, meal preparation and warm, reliable companionship.

• Wide variety of shifts available Monday – Friday 7am-3pm (minimum 2 days availability required)
• What we are looking for:
• A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST.
• Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.
• Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is highly desirable, current Nursing students will also be considered.
• Experience in aged care within the community is highly desirable.
• A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle is a MUST.
• Current First Aid certificate, Police check, NDIS Worker screening check and Working with Children Check (mandatory) or willingness to obtain.
